I have been curating jokes for over three years, at first helping my neighborhood cope with Covid isolation with a daily post in my front yard. Ironic, since I could never remember a joke. My humor came from responding to events around me – being light-hearted and spontaneous somehow got me through life’s challenges, even if nobody laughed but me.
Curating smiles plays to my decades of experience choosing inventory for my music store and choosing a set list for a performance. Here I seek to appeal to the wide demographic who walk, jog, walk dogs or push baby carriages by my house. From Kindergartners to seniors, I try to keep it simple, clear and not risqué.
